Dr Mona Sakr is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood at Middlesex University. Her research focuses on early years leadership, with a particular fascination for inspiring leaders in the baby room.

Kayla Halls is a research assistant on the project. She recently completed her MA in Early Childhood at the University of Roehampton. Her research focuses on gender, sexuality, equity and social justice in the early years.
